Is there a way to make opening links in new tabs a default behaviour?
I think that depends on your app/browser, not Mander
Fully aware of right-click functionality. I had a browser extension for Reddit which made it default, I miss it. I was just wondering if it could be made an option.
Found an extension that works for other sites, but not this site. Probably something to do with the domain.
What extension is it? I can take a look.
I usually click CTRL when clicking links so that they open in new tabs.
Hi Sal. Thanks for making a cool community. Here’s the extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-in-new-tab/cplillmhmcegjlhcbedmgmalbgjpmlkh?hl=en-US
Good news @[email protected] - I just learned that the next release will probably include an option to set this as the default behavior: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/pull/2032
Lol, beautiful. Thank you Sal.
open_links_in_new_tab?: boolean;
I guess that doesn’t really address the issue, but I usually use middle-click
