For such soulful games, I wonder why they aren’t as popular as other not soulful games. 13 Sentinels is upper echelon story telling
I’ve never heard of it. It looks like it’s PS4 and Switch only, so that’s probably why. I haven’t heard of any of their games either (I mostly play on PC, though I have a Switch).
Is it worth a playthrough?
If you like old adventure games and real time strategy games you’ll be right at home. The artwork is pretty beautiful and the RTS segments look like a radar overview which really works well all considering.
The story is phenomenal. Literally on the edge of my seat the whole time, each chapter having some type of twist or subversion that really keeps you guessing. I bought it on ps4 and later bought it on switch for the gameplay upgrades. Worth every penny for my tastes
Yes, I do love old adventure games, especially old LucasArts point and click games. I’m a little less fond of RTS, though I have enjoyed Starcraft, Command and Conquer, and similar games in the past. I watched a short gameplay review, and it seems the RTS parts would be totally fine (and it looked more TBS, like XCom without the randomness).
So yeah, I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation!
