    Cameras in private areas have always been banned.

    Cameras in common areas have been allowed until now, provided they were disclosed and not hidden.

    If a property has multiple unrelated guests, like a hotel, Cameras in common areas aren’t nefarious in intent.

      “Oh. They shouldn’t have cameras. Oh well. Anyways…”

      There are zero penalties for a host who puts cameras wherever the duck they want unless you privately pursue your own separate legal action.
