    Looking at this ebike and its specs, it kinda seems like the Apple model for product design: drop-dead gorgeous, but no industry-standardized parts, and no or few options for expandability, and pricey.

    I’m specifically looking at that front fork, as it seems to be entirely proprietary to keep the clean look. And the handlebars, which seem thicker and so might not accommodate typical aftermarket attachments.

    Needless to say, I’m not terribly fond of bikes or ebikes that focus too much on digital, phone-home tech and not enough on the basic, interchangeability of standard bicycle parts. All things break, and a utilitarian object like a bicycle should be designed for serviceability.
