The Super Mario Bros. Wonder panel at GDC was home to some interesting insight about how Nintendo returned to Mario's 2D roots to create something brand new.
Wonder is way more replayable than Mario Bros U, it’s also continuing to charm the heck out of me in a way that a Mario game hasn’t since Sunshine. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I am glad you like it but no way can I agree with it being replayable.
I found it so boring and off, like a really well polished clone. Didn’t have the feel or look of a mario game just the right physics for the most part.
I got it for €30 so I don’t feel wronged but I would be pissed if I had paid full price for it. SMBU is a modern classic to me, new elements that matched the style and feel of the franchise.
