Basically. The counterweight on the end is basically the first fast-fire driver hack. So, using your thumb and your forefinger typing out -… is only two movements: forefinger once (-), hold thumb for (…). (or vice-versa?).
This Bug was originally my fathers. When I was a kid I would watch him just put his head down, close his eyes and just go to town on this thing. He was an old school ham from when CW was dominant. (I’m licensed as well but haven’t touched a radio in a couple of years.)
