Any thoughts on Poseidon? Looking at getting a gravel bike and the price point seems great.

the price point mean it is a shit bike. You pay for what you get.

i have seen lots of people buy bikes like this. the frames are usually bent out of the box along with various other messed up parts. These bikes are typically sold directly to people who have no idea they are getting a shit bike because they are entirely focused on the price point and not the quality of the product. Like State bikes, at this price point you are paying for a crappy bike.

A decent gravel bike should cost around $1500 or more. These bikes cost half that. They are 100% going to be piece of shit that will fall apart under any significant riding. The brakes won’t work very well. The dropper post will break after a few rides, the shifting will be slopping and the bike will probably stiff and miserable.

That said, if you want someone to ride a few miles around town, this bike (or any bike) is fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up going with the Specialized Diverge. The Allez didn’t do me wrong, so I figure it’s a good brand to stick with.
