    Yes, but transgender medical care is actually seen as a medically necessary procedure for certain people. If your arm had to be amputated for some medical reason, would you use the same argument as you do for transgender people?

      I wouldn’t. What you said is the main point of contention though. I don’t think even conservatives would oppose the surgeries if they thought of them as necessary medical care.

        Yeah, i think we should leave the decision of what is medically necessary up to doctors and not politicians. The medical community has been saying for a long time that transgender care is medically necessary for transgender people.
