After the release of JSON Canvas, I was curious how people handle whiteboarding and graphical notes in Obsidian. Personally, I only use Excalidraw because I was already a user of its web version and because of its support for md and iframes, although I don’t like how it handles embedded notes, everything else is easily corrected due to its high customization. How do you handle these things?

    Neither, what I currently do is draw it in some drawing software, export an image file from it, and embed the image in Obsidian. I have been thinking of looking into Excalidraw and Canvas thanks to how much everyone talks about it.

    Both. When I need to annotate PDFs, I usually just throw it into Excalidraw to draw and write in it. (Haven’t found a good dedicated plugin yet)

    Canvas I use to visualize ideas and get a kind of flowchart thing going for porgramming-related thoughts and sometimes presentations.
