Today, I was about to update the preview version of my hub page for a very small update I made to the news and updates stuff and saw this little thing over here. This will appear on the generator hub page once every single year, and it only lasts a day.
I didn’t even know at first that my generator hub page has just turned 2 years old and it’s been 2 years exactly since it was made. 😄
This is where it all began. My very first iteration of the generator hub page, that has ultimately become the most popular generator page I’ve ever made, not just generators.
cool idea. i wonder if that could be turned in to a plugin. Is there a way to get the creation date of a generator?
not that i want to make the plugin if you do, but seems like a simple yet fun plugin that could be made :)
You could do that with the pride plugin; it has an option to show emojis, text, HTML, and all sorts of cool things based on a specific date. (You can even celebrate a country’s independence day with those!)
Is there a way to get the creation date of a generator?
I don’t think there is a way, but you can always grab them from the very first revision of your generator.
I came back to the hub page, opened News and Updates, and then suddenly seen this as a new thing that feels like it’s popped out automatically…
I’ve almost forgotten that I have tried to add those 2-year-old anniversary posts in the Info Bar and in the news and updates, until a save interference between two of my browsers caused that to revert accidentally, but when extracting the revision of that one save using the manual decoding technique, I was able to restore all of the corrupted data from the revision and decided to re-post that into the news and updates. Sadly the Info Bar one didn’t get intact and then I decided to keep that right side on that default “poll” post.
