I’m just guessing, but I wonder if they listened to investors too much with cyberpunk and saw that. They didn’t follow the standard procedure they had, marketed the game like crazy, shoved it out the door early, and felt the huge blowback.
Because recently the vibe I’m getting from them is “fuck off with your worry about our stock price, either believe in us or don’t”, and I’m digging that. That’s how it should be. You shouldn’t invest because you want to make a quick buck and then cash out, you should really believe that the company is going to do great things.
