They supposedly can be disabled in settings- but we all know that won’t last. They’re going full Microsoft Skype mode and it’s only a matter of time.

They supposedly can be disabled in settings- but we all know that won’t last. They’re going full Microsoft Skype mode and it’s only a matter of time.
Things like Lemmy and mastodon give me hope for this stuff.
Hopefully people start to migrate to another platform. I’m not a big discord user, but it seems that matrix could almost be a drop in replacement.
