You can look at the video I posted in the comment and see for yourself. All the windows are broken on the building behind it and on the side of the Iranian embassy, it’d be absolutely miraculous if the other building flanking the assassination site wasn’t somewhat damaged. Even if it isn’t, this is incredibly callous.

You seriously have no issues with a foreign state blowing something up right next to you? By I meant to ask, how that boot leather, any good?

We need to gather the finest Canadian NIMBYs to sanction Israel, as missile strikes on neighbouring embassies ruin the character of the neighbourhood.

I haven’t a clue on how Canada is supposed to find this as acceptable.

GAC didn’t say whether Israel checked with Canada to ensure that no Canadian personnel were on site when the airstrike hit.

So they didn’t. There’s no reason to refuse to answer this question if they had.

      Thanks for posting this update!

Of course! I think it’s an important story and delineating facts from speculation is critical.

Israel hasn’t officially acknowledged that they did it, so if they DID ask, and Canada DID confirm that they asked, it would confirm that Israel was who did it.

So, I don’t think it’s necessarily true that the ONLY reason to not answer is that Israel didn’t ask.
