    This one took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out, because it’s very obliquely about, uh, marking territory.

    But damn if that’s not a nice colorization.

      My dog will quickly slurp up some more water but only once he’s 100% sure we’re actually going out…

      I guess I’m still unclear why guzzling water from a hose is related to a dog marking territory. Am I that dense?

      Edit: yes I am. Drinking a bunch of water so that he needs to mark territory, so to speak.

      Sometimes my genius stupidity is almost frightening

        I spent several decades thinking this was about drool or something. I don’t think the puddle helps convey that he’s drinking the water.
