Japan is often cited for their low birth rate, but Korea’s is much lower. How they handle this, if successfully, might be a blueprint for other countries to follow

If only there was a solution! People are struggling to afford having children and a work/life balance. What in earth could they need? So mysterious.
This is by design.
Price people out of the gene pool.
Worth mentioning the South Korean 4B movement:
A women’s movement that says no marriage, kids, sex, or romance with men. (the Korean words for these all start with B, latinized)
Another reason for the low birthrate will sound familiar: young people can’t afford to start families. It’s the logical end result of a system that incentivizes resource-hoarding. In the US, people are trying to ban abortions and birth control to make sure people still have kids because the rich old people need workers.
