I’m pretty sure the joke is just that “[Something] Hooters” is a meme right now among Zoomers. Like the joke is that there would even be Hooters for specific categories, and then within that that the joke of this comic is that one of those categories might be for something supernatural.

The joke is mocking men who objectify women for their bodies and don’t treat them as actual human beings. Once women have shown their tits and brought a sandwich, these men would be glad if women cease to exist.

I really don’t follow how the comic could be conveying that.

I also think you’re being way hyperbolic, but that’s unrelated

Well, I mean, everyone’s skill at reading comprehension is different. Keep trying dear, I’m sure you’ll get it. But a little self-awareness wouldn’t hurt, either.

Who needs reading comprehension when you can just make shit up? I would’ve been open to your argument but if you’re going to be a rude cunt about nothing then I see no need.

Lotsa butt-hurt misogynists itt. “Oh, I don’t get it!” “It’s not funny!” Yes it is. It’s about you. That’s why you don’t get it.

I’ve never been to Hooters and I certainly am not a misogynist. I really just don’t get the joke and would love it if someone actually explained it.

Best I can come up with is that it’s playing on the idea that people only visit Hooters because of the scantily clad servers. In this scenario, since there’s literally just apparitions serving the food, the humor comes from the absurd notion of people fervently enjoying Hooters independent of the physical attractiveness of the staff. But I’ve also never been to Hooters so who knows? Could be just a dadaist shit post. What do you think, @[email protected], did I get it right or am I also sexist?

I think there are a fair amount of non-misogynists that also didn’t get it. Hooters is just awful on so many levels, from the misogynistic expectations of the waitstaff to the greasy, terrible food.
