Why didn’t you pick up the doll before you got to anor Londo? It was in the same area as the place you needed to backtrack to in order to not have the poison swamp be such a shitty experience.
In the place where you got surprised with a falling unbeatable enemy. Where you get back, you have to parkour your way on top of deadly high walls in a not obvious path. That to even get to, you have to jump out of an elevator.
It’s so obvious and simple that you need that for the second half of the game!
