For the second time on Sunday, union members at Airbus Canada in Mirabel overwhelmingly rejected a management offer to renew their collective agreement, which expired last December.
It’s not very newsworthy perhaps, but seems relevant for a union community.
When seen in relation to what has happened over at Boeing it’s a decent reminder of the role of unions not only in ensuring worker’s rights, but also in guaranteeing quality and safety for consumers.
