OpenTable has reversed its decision to show members’ first names and profile pictures in past anonymous reviews after receiving backlash from members who felt it was a breach of privacy.

    It seems like when an App Company (I refuse to say Tech Company because using your user base for content is no longer a remotely innovative use of Technology) has a popularity plateau/decline, it will do something intentionally stupid to get attention. Then reverse that decision when everyone decides they’ve had enough of its bullshit. All the while pretending to be benevolent overlords of the content you produced.
