    If they assemble and then completely disassemble the DIY version of the laptop why does it cost less to buy if it requires extra labour?

      I wondered the same. I imagine when they finish designing the process it will actually be cheaper to manufacture.

    Everytime I see a video about Framework the more I’m tempted to buy one of their laptops, seems like a great company

      I’m planning on selling my MacBook and making the switch as soon as the AMD version is available. I’m excited to be able to support a company that values repairable hardware.
