The family of David Padro Jr., a 22-year-old shot and killed outside of Pat's King of Steaks in South Philadelphia in 2021, sued the cheesesteak hotspot for a lack of security.

The lawsuit argues the cheesesteak hotspot should have hired private security to prevent violent arguments between customers
