It’s already out, and as expected breaks mods.

Not sure. So far it breaks the script extender (F4SE) so it breaks the mods themselves, but you might be lucky in your case if it’s already baked into your savegame.

Depends on the mod, I’d generally assume it’s an issue unless the mod author says otherwise. The more the mod touches, the higher likelihood it’ll be an issue.

That said, Fallrim tools does include resaver which I have used in the past to rescue Skyrim saves. Obviously backup before trying, worst thing it doesn’t work so there’s no issue trying

This wasn’t a problem for me back when the game originally released, but if you’re playing above a frame rate of 60 frames per second, the game has a tendency to crash. Try locking the game to 60 FPS Max.

Not sure on fallout 4 but on fallout 76 the game seems best with IPresentInterval set to 0 (vsync off) then using something else to cap the game to the monitor’s refresh rate. In my case this is 144hz. Very smooth and also crash-free. Uncapped FPS tends to lock your character up and stop you walking lol

I was amped for FO4 on release.

I had a relative potato pc at the time.

All was pretty great until I tried to mount some power armor.

Took about 6 hours of crawling through the steam forums until a kind fellow player showed me which ini to change in what way to get the game to work.
