Did Ukraine even have a navy?
They scuttled their navy to ensure that Russia couldn’t use their own weapons against them. It’s part of the reason the border with Poland is important.
They had a few ships at the start of 2022, but nothing larger than a frigate and not very many of anything. Some were captured, some were scuttled, some of the tiny ones live on today.
