Coming from Reddit, they had some pretty strict rules about clips and ads for guilds or groups, but where this place is functionally dead, I’d say it’s better to be a free-for-all than this. But I’m not the mod so not my call. I’ll probably try to get in touch with an admin, there are two subs I’d like to make more active but the person who owns them haven’t been active for almost 8 months
Sadly the point is that most players don’t even know what lemmy is, or probably not even that it exists.
Other games I play are pretty much the same. Most people will stay on reddit so lemmy communities are all pretty small
Yeah, and that’s kinda why I don’t think the rules should be the same. Post clips, advertise guilds, post rosters for runs. Who cares at this point lol
Personally, I don’t know much about the game just yet and not even looked into guilds - i’m just doing missions at the moment, and leveling up (just made it to lvl 50 today!)
I know from other games, that guild invites can be pretty spammy but it sounds like they are part of keeping the communities alive. I didn’t know there were multiple communities here, but i’d subscribe to any that is here. So I don’t see anything wrong in there being two or three or even more ;)
It is a little spammy, but the alternative is that nothing gets posted besides patch notes lol. I don’t think there are any other ESO communities either, not that I’ve seen at least.
I am not big on multiplayer really so for me, I just tag along and see what others post.
I do like to take pictures in-game some times though. So I guess I could share those in here some times. It is better than nothing as you say

Yeah go for it man! I’ll be posting any good PvP clips I get just to get stuff moving. Not like they’re going to get removed right now lol
