The creator of the rejected Adult Swim cartoon Pibby and Friends: Apocalypse has uploaded storyboards of the edgy Cartoon Network crossover.
Last October, Dodge Greenley, the creator behind Pibby and Friends: Apocalypse, revealed that Adult Swim has yet to pick up the pilot for the edgy Cartoon Network crossover and likely never will. Now, Greenley has uploaded storyboards from the pilot.
On Greenley’s portfolio website, storyboards for the pilot of Pibby and Friends: Apocalypse were uploaded. Storyboards for Greenley’s previous animated works like Jellystone! and Tig n’ Seek are also available. The Pibby pilot consists of 290 pages, detailing Pibby’s pre-school homeworld being destroyed by an evil menace known as the “Glitch.” Outside the initial teaser, this is the closest fans have gotten to seeing how Pibby would have unfolded as a show.
