I wonder how bad these fires will play out for the wildlife and the ecosystem.

Not only are critical food sources burned, but this is spring, many animals have young that cant escape. From amphibians to birds to large mammals. The rivers as well will be choked and kill fish fingerlings and eggs. This is a tragedy of epic proportions for Canada’s ecosystem.
