    He argued it’s easier for customers to “point fingers” at grocers like Loblaw than at other players in the supply chain or global factors leading to higher prices.

    Given Loblaws has control over a lot of that supply chain and has record profits over the last few years, so…

      How dumb do they think we are? The problem isn’t your supply chain, it’s your record profits raked in by gouging us. Gouging is their new business model.

      I’m starting to think these pigs won’t change until we start putting their heads on sticks.

      I looked that up recently, in the USA, for us. Many major food corps are still taking in almost double (Cargill, Tyson, fur example) their prior record profits. Standing with my Canadian brothers and sisters in solidarity as I rue that we just pay more and think it’s ok, here.
