From my understanding federation is having services be able to communicate with one another. If my understanding is wrong can you correct me or explain it further.

Also what is going on with defederating lemmy?

    My instance was defederated as well so you can’t read my comment unless you are from another instance that is federated with mine

        That’s funny! I wonder if OP would see a comment down a chain but not the rest of the chain if it came from an instance he’s allowed to interact with…
