minus-squareplanishlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·2 years agoThe point of using metadata for rotation is to avoid having to visit each pixel in the image and move it around to rotate the image. If you are making a copy you have to visit each pixel anyway so you might as well take the opportunity to put it the right way up.
It does the exact same thing to me. But if I go in my gallery and make a copy of the picture and upload that, it works correctly.
I don’t get it either.
