As part of its Q1 2024 financial report, AMD highlights that a decline in its 'Gaming' revenue is due to lower sales of its Radeon GPUs.

If you have something from the Nvidia rtx20xx generation or newer, I’m not sure how much advantage there is to upgrading at all.
