Yes, definitely. Not all of my complaints from the beta were addressed, but many were and the game is quite fun. Also some nice references to Unfortunate Spacemen in there too.
I saw a very short (like 2 minute) video on General Sam’s second channel (Seneral Gam) called “New Science Game Dropped” from a few months ago and I thought this looked awesome back then.
It looks like you’re basically a Black Mesa scientist that can actually fight back.
I did not play prior to this release and my group has really enjoyed it so far. I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in the idea of a survival crafter set in an SCP/Control -style facility.

I’m coming back to this post after having played the game for almost two days straight.
Goddamn is it fun. Even just solo (though of course like with other survival games it tends to slow down a lot) setting up my base with a few more comforts. I got through the first sector in the game and opened the second, but I just need to explore the new area now.
It’s kinda like a 3D first-person Zomboid, only without the zombies (for now, at least). There are starting classes that you can further tweak with perks or ailments, just like PZ. The skill progression system looks and feels a lot like PZ. And there are tweakable world settings whenever you start a save (they can’t be changed once you start the game though), and a lot of the options feel like they came right out of Zomboid as well.
Great game, terrible performance issues. I don’t know why a game that looks like Half-Life 1 needed to use Unreal Engine 5. Nearly unplayable on the Steam Deck at times.
