    What’s the deal with DE? More and more are getting released (which is good) but I thought the other DE dev stopped and got focused on main ones: xfce, gnome, kde…

    CDE always makes me feel nostalgic for 2002/2003 when I spent my intern year working for Sun using an Ultra 5 machine with 8 Mb RAM, 6 virtual desktops and soooo many terminal windows. It was my first introduction to Unix and lead me to linux in the end.
