    Seems like a good idea. The steering wheel nag is a horrible way to check if the driver is paying attention, as it was only checking if torque is being applied to the wheel. Easy to get around with putting something heavy on the wheel at all times.

    Let’s hope this helps with people not paying attention and crashing and killing innocent bystanders. What a fucking mess this whole fsd development cycle is.

      I had a weight that was made specifically for putting just enough weight at the edge of the steering wheel to prevent the nagging…. One of the updates over a year ago started issuing warnings about “utilizing a safety defeat device”, forced the driver to take control, and prevented use of autopilot/fsd for the rest of the drive. It also said it would kick you out of the FSD program if you got caught with it 3 times.

      I pulled the weight off after the 2nd warning. The nag is a pain in the ass and even goes off if my hand is resting on the steering wheel if I’m not putting enough torque on the wheel.
