I noticed that last time I was there. Toronto the clean has become Toronto the scuzzy. But don’t worry, they’re spackling the Gardiner again. That should really spruce the place up.

I wish articles like this would rightfully point more fingers up at the provincial government. In Ontario municipal governments are limited in the ways they can actually bring in money.

When it comes to extracting more wealth from the wealthy to help cover essential services, provincial and federal governments are better positioned to do so.
