Since May 2020 the pod of 15 Iberian killer whales has sunk seven vessels — five sailboats and two Moroccan fishing boats — in waters that coincide with their migratory route

Orcas are smart. This article suggests it’s not intentional and maybe out of curiosity? Whatever. They figured out how to sink boats without ramming full speed. How much you wanna bet they’re pillaging the sunken ships for food and drinks and stuff. Special little treats that sailboats happen to carry. Or maybe they get pissed off when one of them dumps their lavatory waste or something.

Well I read that but when I searched it, returns suggested a yacht, so I’m really confused. Maybe autocorrect changed my terms and I didn’t notice or the search was just silly returns. I was about to nap and admittedly didn’t pay that much attention before I hit “enter.”

          Sailboats can be yachts.

They make sailboat yachts too, there’s a whole show on bravo about it.

Well i hope it was a yacht. But after saying that, i feel for the crew, not the vessel or the owners. It’s easy to have an opinion, but ultimately it’s a literal ocean away, polluting for zero reason for the 1%.

I hope there are not reparations. I like to think they have had enough of us and want more space than we allow for wildlife.
