The corporate job cuts at Walmart won’t affect the Canadian operations at the Mississauga headquarters, according to a source.

Dunno if it’s just me but I’m Canadian and Walmart in the last 10 years particularly, has become a k-Mart level operation where it’s just stores full of the same crap for years, and don’t even bother trying to order online, that shit is a nightmare, and when you have a problem with your order, they don’t even reply to your emails let alone fix any issues. I don’t buy anything from Walmart anymore, they don’t have exclusive deals I can’t get elsewhere, and everyone price matches now.

Bought a car seat for my toddler. Opened it, manufactured date was 4 years ago! That is, it would EXPIRE in 4mo.

So, I go to return it, and the returns counter guy said they don’t take care seat returns and that it’s not defective! Got absolutely nowhere with him, ended up having to go to a different location and the person there had kids and understood the issue. Ugh.

Yes. And using an expired seat with your child is against the law (and obviously unsafe), and the fine isn’t small.

Don’t they normally last 7 years? Or does it depend on the seat?

Depends on the seat. I’ve bought some that lasted 10yrs (previous kid). The one in this instance was a 5yr cheaper one.
