Well, as promised, we are talking foldable this week. The excitement is palpable, and it looks like the rest of our mod team have already started the conversation here. Go check it out.

I honestly don’t know very much about foldable phones, so I’ll let the rest of our (very smart and knowledgeable) mod team handle this one this week. :)

Last thing for future reference at the end of the week, we also have a great thread discussing foldables here too, go check it out if you want more great discussions.

Yeah I get that. But you don’t need a big screen. Because you don’t need to game or have multiple apps running. You want to though.

Yeah I suppose removing the need to carry laptops or tablets is helpful.

But most need a laptop or tablet for work purposes. So most would have that anyway. If you were travelling for reasons you could also bring more unnecessary stuff though.

Again negating that extra niche product. But yeah each to their own. I just don’t see the reasoning

Wait, are you trying to tell me how my eyes work? Big screens mean I can make everything bigger without having to zoom or distort the content. You have no idea what my use cases are. You also don’t get to tell me if I’m allowed to game or do work on my phone. I don’t need a big screen? I sure as fuck do.

You’ve clearly convinced yourself that you don’t like it, and have come into the comments to argue with anyone who says they do, even if you’re clearly wrong.

Yeah not reading what I’m writing.

        Did you read anything?

Obviously bigger screens for most things are better. And those exist. So phone is niche and carves out it’s own very small format.

I stated my reasons. You stated yours.

        End of.
