It doesn’t have to be a lie to be disingenuous. The best propaganda is technically the truth but severely misleading. No matter how often you post shit like this, both sides are not the same.

This is a prime example of whataboutism. On the issue covered by the OP, biden is actually the same as trump, so you decided to change the subject to reproductive rights. We should be able to criticize missteps by the democrats without people like you trying to dismiss it as a generalized “same thing both sides” and trying to change the subject.

If you care about fallacies why skip the dangerous and relevant “both sides” fallacy but stop to point out whataboutism?

Because on this issue, both sides literally are the same. If anything, you’re engaging in the fallacy that because they differ in some ways, that means they differ in all ways.

The brutal truth of the Biden administration that neither side of the bipartisan divide wants to even look at, is that Biden has delivered on more of Trump’s 2016 campaign promises than Trump.

If you voted for Trump in 2016 Biden is absolutely your guy. He delivered on the promises Trump failed to.

The brutal truth is that you don’t seem to care about the deterioration of civil rights and democracy unless it directly affects you. Yeah, neither option is “good”. But one is clearly worse than the other.

Do you mean like an infrastructure bill that Trump promised but failed to pass? I mean I guess we could hang that one on Biden.

Everyone here needs to accept that America isn’t a progressive country, and will not elect progressive leaders, and will continue to do heinous things in our names and with our money because the vast, vast majority of the population are shitty people.

He’s taking away their campaign slogans. Don’t think it’s a good move overall, but politically it’s… Decent I guess? In a time when trump is facing some struggles, Joey boy outflanked him from the right and made the entire party look impotent. It’s a power move. We know they were stonewalling any border reform to prevent giving biden a “win.” Just think about how many times you’ve heard “open border” repeated on fox (not that this will stop them from lying as they always have, but now Joe has something to point to).

Though, I’m pretty sure the actual republican co-authored immigration bill was more acceptable than this. It added immigration judges to cut down the asylum hearing wait time to months instead of years. This just tells them to fuck off and take a hike which I think violates international law, though I haven’t read the whole thing yet so I’m just guessing.

They vote for their team no matter what, while Dems decide if they vote at all or not. The idea of a swing voter as a major force hasn’t been reality in multiple elections.

If this helps down ballot Dems, maybe it’s a savvy move, but it really looks like it is another “demotivate my base to appease people who will literally never vote for me” move.
