Disney Castle, but worse! It even has a mullet just accentuating how fake and stupid it looks. Texas, give me a break.

Here’s the listing

I love this about American architecture so much. Big ostentatious buildings, you go around the side/back, and if you’re lucky there’ll be two small pathetic windows weirdly misaligned, but more commonly a big blank wall.

It’s silly and delightful in a way.

Well, let’s be fair, trying to get furniture for and decorate a series of round rooms must be a pita.

Gonna be honest, the arched terraces are kinda doing it for me.

A mullet is a haircut where the front is quite different from the back, and the house is similarly mismatched. In this case I guess it’s business at the front and a pool party out the back…

So they built a castle but only have 1.5 acres of land, and then put it right on the highway? I’m just looking at pics of surrounding areas – the neighbor’s house, the baseball field across the road, all so close.

    19,673 square feet

I remember some old metric, that you need one full-time housekeeper for every 5,000sf of house. So they need 4 housekeepers?? Probably a full-time cook and a handyman, plus a groundskeeper as well.

That metric is bullshit then or it’s missing a piece. Cleaners take care of my 2300sw ft house in like an hour. Lawn for them is probably 2-3 people once or twice a week for a few hours.

Imagine if this was real… How would the planning of sich a thing gone?
“my Lord, what doth he wisheth for his new castle?”
    “MOAR TOWERS”
“but, I am sure my Lord is aware that towers are most effective when integrated onto a protective wall, so shall we put a wall around my Lord’s…”
“I SAID MOAR TOWER! MOAR. MOAR!”
“As… my Lord wishes. Now… What doth my Lord wish to put on the back of the castle for defense?”
“ON THE BACK?! WHO WOULD ATTACK THERE. ARE YOU GAY OR SOMETHING?!”

The golden-hour color grading is so aggressive I expected Midjourney anime girls in the windows.
