This show is in my regular “can’t sleep” playlist (stuff I’ve seen so many times I have no need to watch it to know exactly what’s going on). I wish there was more of it, but I’m glad to have what’s there, it was all very well done.
Imho, yes in the ways that matter, and no in the rest of the ways.
High def does no favors to the scenery and effects (the heavy use of repurposed keyboards becomes really obvious, for example). But it’s more of a fun “haha check out how they stretched the budget” sort of thing to me.
But the story is still good and the humor aged pretty well for the most part (some jokes are questionable now but not as many as you might expect).
And the return to earth stuff they added somewhat recently… good wrap-up sort of story line, if you haven’t seen them yet. They don’t really fit, but they aren’t really meant to.
