I agree with pretty much everything in the video. There have been great comic and TV adaptations of the characters but the 1990 movie still stands up as the best TMNT film in my opinion. What do others think?
The whole farm arc of the movie hits so fucking hard and is peak 90s energy.
Agreed. The meditation scene at the fire place still touches me to the core.
I love this movie for a million reasons. One of which is that there are a handful of gorgeous oners in it that really push the emotional impact of their respective scenes. The cinematography is just ridiculously good from start to finish.
I agree and I also think it’s one of the best comic book/superhero/whatever movies ever. It’s a timeless classic!
I just wouldn’t waste that many words on hating Mutant Mayhem. I saw the trailers and realized it’s not for me, I’m probably not the intended audience either, so I didn’t watch it. Same way I did with the Michael Bay ones after I watched the first one and didn’t like it. I just forget they exist and hopefully something I like more will come along in the next reboot. But there’s definitely people out there who like them, more power to them!
