Well hopefully it can recover from its horrible initial impression then. It would be a shame for a perfectly good game to die from one bad trailer.

Does anyone really want another generic hero shooter though? It’s not like we’re at a loss for options

I’m pretty burnt out on shooters for a lifetime, and the “Marvel characters we have at home” vibe from the art isn’t helping much.

I still crave shooters but don’t seem to have the time for online multiplayer anymore. I want to try stuff like Ultrakill and Selaco nowadays

This game is going nowhere if they think people will pay $40 for yet another hero shooter.

Ah yes, 8GN. Famous for rating God Hand 3/10. I wouldn’t put any stock into IGNs reviews, honestly. They rarely match up with reality depending on who the game publisher is. They clearly are afraid to lose access to review copies of games from Sony with this one.

IGN gave The First Descendant 5/10. But let’s take a look at a pretty important metric real quick:

The First Descendant : Steam concurrent player count RIGHT NOW > 130k.

Concord: Steam concurrent player count RIGHT NOW = 32

If the game was as good as IGN says, then a lot of people would be playing it. 32 players? Games dead and it hasnt even released yet.
