There’s no shame in drinking when you’ve seen the evil of humanity and know that humanity itself is what is shameful. It’s either that or suicide.

Drinking is the only drug that makes me forget. I understand vets with PTSD now. Or anyone with PTSD.
Life sucks. People are evil. Once you’ve experienced the evil of humanity… It’s either suicide or drugs unless you have money and a solid support group.
Money is arguable just as bad as drugs in terms of escaping now that I think about it.
