    Vote your conscience. There will always only be two parties if you only every vote for one of two parties.

      The 2 party system is kept alive by the electoral college that incentivizes 2 party voting. If there was actual proportional representation, I would agree.

        Sorry to be pedantic, but that’s more due to First Past The Post voting than the Electoral College. The electoral college is why I will vote third party and it will make no difference in the outcome of this election.

            That implies it’s possible to be thrown away twice. I’m maximizing the benefit of my vote. My state will go blue.
