$90 million doesn’t feel like that much money in the scheme of things. I wish one new Sentinel ICBM could be sacrificed to more than cover this mission.

I am/was on this project and today has been a truly devastating day. @JeffBezos @elonmusk, this rover is fully built, tested and operational, requiring only one last environmental test. Unless funding (from outside NASA) intervenes by August 1, we will have to deintegrate/scrap
It seems a real shame to scrap a fully built lunar rover.
It can still earn its glory in the Rover Pits
