    @bridge What an unintelligible message. Veganism is about doing your best to avoid using animals, not a claim that all can be avoided. Perhaps the person should look up the definition of veganism before talking about it.

      It’s always a balance between how much you’re willing to spend (in time, money and effort) and how much effect that will have.

      Spending an insane amount of effort to make vegan vaccines? Probably not worth it. Spending a tiny bit of effort to not eat steak? Probably worth it. Everything in between? Vagueness.

    Sorry I have vegan versions of everything I use. The only exceptions is vaccines, which use a tiny amount of eggs. It’s not like I can develop my own personal pharmaceutical manufacturing.

    Veganism IMO is also simply first hand boycott for practical reasons - vegan agriculture is yet a thing to get implemented on large scales geographically. Veganism like climate action could thus benefit from mandated proper LCAs on products.
