I thought most people were finally pissed about tip culture in America. Why do Republicans suddenly care about tips? How about Democrats promise to raise minimum wage & provide paid family leave?
I can run a business where no customer pays me. I only suggest the tip amount before I do the work, and if they don’t give me the suggested tip amount then I say I won’t be able to do the job.

Because suddenly tips of ridiculous sums of money can’t be taxed. Sounds like a loophole to me.

If people didn’t tip well, some jobs would be unlivable. So employers would have to pay employees more.
