Skibidi Toilet is a machinima web series of YouTube videos and shorts created by Alexey Gerasimov and uploaded on his YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom!. Produced using Source Filmmaker, the series follows a fictional war between human-headed toilets and humanoid characters with electronic devices for heads.
Just a web series that’s popular with kids, came out around Feb of 2023, I’m not sure which came first, the term or the series.
The series. The term originated from the series because the toilets sing that “skibidi bum bum oh yes yes” constantly. The toilets are bad and destroying life, hence skibidi is slang for really bad.
Source: have 10 year old and I remember when this all started.

Not necessarily related, but out before.
Yeah, I think it actually means something in another language. I never looked too hard into it. I was mostly commenting on the whole skibidi as a slang and how it grew in popularity because of the skibidi toilet series blowing up.
It’s loosely based on a bulgarian pop song that transposes one of their traditional folk songs over a dance beat. It got popular from TikTok from an overweight Turkish guy dancing to it. Then this youtube series was made with some gmod visuals and parts of the song in the background.

How do people put money into this. I don’t get it.
It’s fake, c’mon guys
There is nothing fake about this. There was an actual DMCA request, but it has been resolved:
And there are indeed movie talks:

Is it really any wonder that anything that is popular and can be converted to money will eventually be exploited? I think not.
