    Back when “The Flat Earth Society” was all about trolling and making an elaborate scientific joke and not hardcore extremist science deniers.

        The joke is the absurdity of a flat earth and making puns like “all around the globe” in that context and creating absurdist proof that the Earth is flat despite everyone knowing since kindergarten that it isn’t.

        But some people started taking it too seriously.

          Oh, I guess I got that part but was expecting there to be a pun I didn’t get in the “read that again slowly” text.

          That part I guess I knew, but I was expecting a pun in the arrow text and thought I was missing something. Guess I was overthinking it.
