I mean, what else would it take to swing someone away from a rapist, convicted felon, insurrectionist, and openly confessed wannabe dictator? At what point they say, you know what, there’s no comparison here?
I doubt there are any true independents here. Only embarrassed Republican voters who are too shy to admit that they will still vote R - hence calling themselves independents to save their face.
